Pfaff is an inportant sculptor and printmaker whose works have been shown in many major museums including MOMA, the Whitney Museum, the Hirschhorn, the Albright-Knox, and the Venice Bienniale, where she represented the US. Chryssa settled in New York City in 1957, and has become known for her urban landscapes in neon scupture, paint, and prints. Brinkman received her BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and her MFA from Pratt Institute in New York City. Her work has been praised by Grace Hartigan.
